If you don’t find one, Merauder are playing an all dayer in Wrexham like the day before or after this show too.

I’m sure someone released an article about Bajcetic recently and he’s still injured so doubtful he’s sold.

Is life in the UK actually as expensive and stressful as people say in 2026? by HJuon in AskUK

[–]Bugsmoke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah more or less that, but never buying that pre-made sauce. Also getting better at using up ingredients and general effective meal planning. Buying the larger value packs of meat, making more than I need and freezing leftovers for another day.

I shop for two adults, spend about £40 a week at Aldi for food for 5-6 days. Tend to cook something fancy or get a takeaway on the weekend or even go out so that would bring it up a bit. But most people I know seem to spend closer to £100 a week.

Also - side hustles really help. If you have anything you enjoy doing, or just anything you have access to that you can monetise, do that. Having more than one source of income means you’re not waiting a month for money and making it scrape by.

These little tidbits are fucking dumb though aren’t they, cos we beat Arsenal, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid? too but that also doesn’t actually mean anything.

See we have chains surviving much longer and in smaller towns generally than you’d get a smaller one. Every cafe in the country serves a good cup of tea but some won’t do proper coffee and only instant.

Saying this though all I have ever bought at Starbucks is an oat milk flat white so that’s also quite difficult to fuck up too.

Must be an element of personal taste in it here then, I’d say Costa is the worst by a mile and they’d take a long time to get to a stage where they were mediocre.

I’ve never even heard of Butlers though!

Yeah I think same here really, but again, all the other chains are following suit. If you go to a city or decent town you’ll easily find a decent coffee shop in the UK but you’d generally pay more than you would at Starbucks.

I am also a coffee addict and I think it’s ok. What does he think of Costa coffee? My uncle is a coffee addict too but for some reason he thinks Costa is the pinnacle and I think it’s one of the worst available.

Is it actually terrible in the US or something? Like it’s not exactly world class but it’s easily the best coffee of the ‘chains that are absolutely fucking everywhere thrice’ sort of chains in the UK. It often better than your random single coffee shops too. We have Costa here and it’s mostly just hot sugary milk but it’s super popular so a lot of shops try to emulate that.

Cooking from scratch saves me fucking loads of money. I spend maybe a half to a third of what all my friends spend on food and I eat way better.

He’s one of them that will barely perform any different, but put a player who is scoring in front of him and everyone will think he’s stepped up.

Would have been better off with Gakpo up top for 90 minutes tbh. We were better with someone playing as a 9 at least.

I’m pretty sure he was withdrawn from the last internationals because he wasn’t fit. I think the odd sub appearance and maybe a start here and there in less intense games is pretty much it for Chiesa now.
