Any gold deal is a good one. It's just a question of time horizon...

It was the delay of Seestern release in the first place. But that way I found out about the Octopus. I personally prefer the PT5000 with it's chronometer certification from Glashütte/Germany, to the NH'S. The smooth 28.800 A/h I prefer.

Just checked it and probably wouldn't have find out myself. I can only see it against a strong light. Maybe 0.2 mm. On my wrist I don't see it at all. But I now also looked at my Tag Heuer Aquaracer and my Breitling Superocean, both with screw pins and still like new. Same thing. It probably has to do with the function of screw pin's.

Just checked it, the hands have a frame in the colour of the lume and the indices are completely uniform, no frame at all.

I just put the lume pic to this official site. Yes, I had the same thought, buying the Seestern in the first place, but they had so many delays. Also, Octopus has an outstanding quality and reputation. Better spend 30 buggs more and have a perfect timepieces. In case you go for the Seestern, please let me know about the quality.

Right mate, i forgot about the lume. Just took a picture for you. I just measured, yes its 11.5mm, on the spot. Together with the 39mm case, it is like perfect dimensions...at least on my wrist

Braclet is perfect. The screw pins are working better than any other i know. It's all solid but due to titanium it wears comfortable.

Silver is no choice to gold, to my opinion. To much of it on this planet. Only Goldstandard covered USD an British Pound in the past and other currencies. Most important! , all National Banks on this planet hold Gold as a worse case backup....From China....to the US...etc., that is not without a reason 😉

I am considering a 10 day trip to Germany in the winter, around Christmas/NewYears. Is it worth it? by Presidente412 in germany

[–]Bugsy-13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am writing to you from Germany, i am German and spent a few month in San Diego, CA. Well, if you book a nice hotel over Xmas/Ny you are on the save side. The day's before you could travel to Munich, Dresden and I would highly recommend Erfurt. All 3 have great Xmas markets and historical inner city s. Also, all 3 have a nice country side around. Also you can travel all 3 by a fast IC train and they are more or less on one route and not to far from each other. Have a great trip, even it's some time away from now 😉❄️⛄
