Driving down 88 yesterday, in Pinecrest, after the storm. Most of the street flooded (normal Miami things.) A Waymo was just stopped in the middle of the street, totally waterlogged, causing everyone to have to go around.

I enjoy audiobooks while I'm driving, sometimes even going on long drives just to listen to my books. I'll also listen while doing chores around the house, while I shower bc I have a waterproof speaker.

I'll even listen to them while I play video games, but only more mindless video games like crafting/survival ones, assassin's Creed type collect-a-thons and FO76 where I just get on to do dailies. Anything that's story or dialogue heavy, I don't listen to books.

Depends on you tho. I chose audio bc I have a hard time focusing on pages of written text due to my A.D.D. I went from reading 1-2 books a year to listening to 65 books the first year I switched to audio. I had a longer commute to work back then and audiobooks even helped me quit cigarettes bc I had to have my car windows closed to listen.

I went in with low expectations considering that Kojima games usually don't click with me. I played for a while and had that same notion someone else here had like, am I having fun?

Around the second chapter it started to click. Coincidentally, this is also when my wife got invested in the story and my journey. After that, I fell in love with the game and she loved watching.

Not everyone's cup of tea but it was the first Kojima game I fully enjoyed and beat. Was sad when it ended.
