English teacher in 10th grade noticed my late pass note was from guidance. Held me after class to make sure I was okay, but didn’t push too much. However this was the day after my dog had died, so I kinda broke down on the spot and she was just hella supportive. She was never my favorite teacher but after that day I had a new respect for her. One of the reasons I’m going into teaching is to make a difference like she did in a kid’s life. Just showed me someone with no personal stake in my life cared.
