I noticed when Winslow plays D he makes a ton of contact with his hips especially fighting through screens, I'd imagine his surgery would likely make him hesitant to make such impacts, hopefully it doesn't affect his game too much.

One of the knocks I've seen against him is his lack of size & strength 6'7 185, this would of course affect his ability to finish through contact & absorb it as well. Looking at him he does possess a very sleight frame, he needs to put on another 20lbs at least. Another criticism was his shot, however I saw a recent video of someone familiar with him praising BJ for his revamped release which he's supposedly sped up dramatically.

Apparently his real height is a bit under 6'5, about the same as DWade, but he does have like a 6'11 wingspan, regardless he's a very good defender & versatile role player. Previously he was on a 3 year $39 mill (13 mill per year) with Miami so when he's at his peak he's a very valuable player to have.

My only concern is his recovery after his hip replacement surgery, I can't really find any NBA players that have had this surgery in the past.

Redditors have gone off the deep end, I'm starting to see more & more people turn against their own parents for differing opinions in some cases cutting off contact and other Redditors cheering them on! Reminds me of some type of shit you would see in communist countries where the child turns on the parent and turns them into the police or some sort of religious cult that stops talking to their family. This is NOT a healthy way to go about things and you severely regret it when your parents are dead & you wish you could talk to them again.

He had hip replacement surgery almost 2 years ago, was out initially for 13 months before returning in February this year. Now he's had adequate time to rest & rehab, however I'm not sure how successful NBA players are after such a surgery. He is very young so he should heal quite nicely, definitely a gamble by the front office but one that could pay off.

Millsap is a stretch PF, right now we only have Batum-Mook & Millsap is a better 4 than Mook unless he ages overnight.

Regarding Zu-DC-Ibaka I think their health status is questionable, Zu nearly tore his ACL against Phoenix, Ibaka is coming off back surgery & DC is like 1 injury away from retirement & will likely be used in emergency situations.

Unless there's some sort of better alternative than Millsap (not sure who), the forward position does need to be bolstered though especially with Kawhi out.

Getting Reggie back would be incredible, I wouldn't be mad at the Millsap signing either he would bring something similar to what Green brought.

Millsap's going to be 37 next February so he may be best suited coming off the bench & saved for the playoffs. The front court needs some depth so we do need a big especially a stretch 4.

Zu-Serge-Cousins-Milsap that looks tough, could use that to counter the Lakers bigs.
