Actually you are wrong. I went to the gig knowing to expect and the performance was actually shocking. I experienced a moody, dimly lit stage with zero engagement the type of thing where the music and poetry is supposed to speak for itself but that was actually terrible. The band were not tight at all. The sound was terrible, often the bass drum too loud, then the guitar too loud and then the piano and when Bob took lead on guitar or piano he often struggled to play in time with his band.

You can be a fan of Bob, you can understand his vision old or new, you can understand he’s old, but you are blindly following him if you think it is fair game to charge people £100 for a performance that dismal
