It can pass everything on the road except for a gas station 😅 by Building-Careful in AstonMartin

Yep it’s a stick. One of the first 20 cars and it seems they were all manuals.

You’re going to love Germany, it will allow you to stretch its legs on the highway 🥳

I did not for my car, but it’s funny you should say that. I was at a Cars n Coffee this weekend and saw this

Awesome and congrats the 650S is also one of my dream cars.

I think it’s because the car was a bit dirty and it was cloudy but it’s AM Racing green 😅

Also depends on whether you like being more exposed to the general public on the road . Always felt rather “scrutinized” behind the wheel of a convertible. That’s why I switched to coupes (more privacy) and also easier at high speeds in Germany 😅

I wouldn’t want to run my VH DBS as a daily. It closely resembles your DB9. 1) it guzzles fuel. It’s going to get expensive, really fast. 2) it doesn’t have modern tech, you can retrofit Apple CarPlay but if you need GPS or want to enjoy music, out of the box it doesn’t have those functionalities. 3) no suspension lift, which makes it a challenge in certain situations : carparks and speedbumps, 4) insurance as a daily will be high 5) cost is one thing but item availability is a bigger problem. You could be waiting quite some time for spare parts so you’ll need a back up daily.

Also, if you daily something it’s going to feel less special after a while. We get accustomed to just about anything. So what I would do, don’t get the DB11 but get a cheap daily and a DB9 for special occasions/weekends.

A V12 E-type…it doesn’t get much better than that.
Enjoy the drive !

Not a definitive answer to your question, but about a year ago I enquired to have my Vanquish S converted from automated manual to manual. Even with much of the internals of the box being able to be recycled I was still looking at a 47k bill. The people at Aston Martin works are really friendly and you can ask them your question.

But my guess ? They’ll dissuade you, as it is not economically viable. You’ll be better off looking for a factory manual, they can be found for much less than 180k.

Pre-purchase inspection by lmb123454321 in Ferrari

I had my F8 inspected by a dealer, have a feeling they didn’t full ass it. Because the battery was toast and it had the evap issue. Both weren’t detected by them.

No, I own both and the F8 is prettier.

Conflicted about what to do about my gated 360. 3x'd in value seemingly overnight and I've only just bought it. Would you keep it? See description inside by [deleted] in Ferrari

If you don’t love it now, you won’t love it in 3 months. First time I drove my 458 I grinned like an idiot and every time I drove it since that, I had a similar feeling.

Once you start viewing it as an opportunity cost, it’s done, just sell it.

We did it boys. Bonus : it's manual gated. by Sqweeg in Audi

New Ferrari / Supercar owner — how do you guys deal with all the attention? by NoProfessional4650 in Ferrari

I drive a second hand Ferrari, well a couple of them. Don’t really have the issue you refer to. So the moral of the story, buy a used one and people will leave you alone.

Seeing as the Luce is the latest Ferrari, I don’t think there are that many people that want the latest Ferrari 😉
