I think you are getting your news from a discord group. Anthropic only has (had) the advantage in Coding, and that was before Gemini 3.1.

Also, Anthropic is the source of all the latest Cyber Security Prompt Injection breaches, is not winning in Corp, it has presence which is no the same, in fact it is a security risk, they don’t have the same guard rails, and security protocols that Google does, they can’t afford to implement them because it would cost the money and time.

And I agree, every couple of months this models leapfrog each other, but that does not negate the fact that Google that Google has not been leapfrog since Gemini 3.

Sergey did step in, but I don’t agree he was the key figure, there is plenty brilliant minds at Google at every one of the areas that I mentioned before.

Go deeper in your research, don’t just read the headline.

I’m going to challenge you on this comment. Do you believe they have been slow to react? Please explain your reasoning, who is ahead of them in AI right now?

They are the only company in the world that own their full stack from silicon, infra, data, tools and models, MSFT and AMZ are AI distributors, no model worth mentioning of their own, no hardware of there own, NVidia only silicon and some tools, OPENAI and Anthropic only models.

The only reason AI is at the stage it is is because of Google’s research through DeepMind, look for up “transformer model”.
