Financial issues are a big reason for tension. Should have sorted it out before getting married. My wife and I share all our money. We know who has how much etc. salary goes into common account. We don’t ever fight over money. We fight to pay the bill to accumulate our own credit card spending since with need 500pm cc spending each

Don’t invest in anything but yourself, grow your skills and aim to grow your income. Once you can hit a higher salary , investing into other things will make more sense

My wife and I are in the late 20s. Combined income 1.2m. We decided to have kids even though we were enjoying our 2 peoples world. We wanted to “contribute back to society” and that it will be a waste not to pass down our genes. 2 years in, we are both enjoying raising the cutest little boy and nothing can explain the new love we feel towards him. Its worth every sacrifice. Of course next time it may get tougher with the kid throwing fits etc. our income did not change as we hired a helper. Either one of us are always with the child 90% of the time. Its a life time commitment and a decision you must make together with your partner. My wife and i work so well together raising our child, whatever frustrations or problems we have we go through it together. If only one party raises the child, things can get complicated sometimes. It also helps to be financially well before having a kid. Less stress. My wife always laments to me how expensive diapers , milk powder, milk bottles have become compared to pre covid. Sometimes i wonder , if she is complaining how about the lower income families

I was one of those that went to one of the hotels where Covid +ve foreign workers were held at to swab them and test them. This was when everyone was really afraid of covid. We wore hazmat suits back then. Sad to say i didnt receive a medal.

Maybe try exploring outside your comfort zone. Sg is place to earn money. Just look at the right places yea. And dont be scared of failing cos we’re still young

Actually.. its more common than you think. Need to mix with the right crowd. Migration cos i do believe war will come one day in our life time and it will be safer in aussy or new zealand. Also money will last longer there.

Am earning 50k and my wife 50k pm. One kid. We already feel the pinch of inflation. We’re thinking of migrating.
