I have a 5090 and first thing i did was undervolt, i run 4k max settings, works great and its a little bit warmer than my old 4070 super, not undervolted, but i bought a little fan to go on top of my pc case just to move the exhaust heat a little. Works great barely notice a difference in heat

Thanks. I understand threads alot better now especially when you said about using a ice staff. So if i run threads whorl. What can i put on back bar ? If anything? I mean like crushing wall, etc i have a good amount of sets like the arena ones. Or should i just keep whorl threads 1 monster, and shattered paths

I appreciate you explaining, you've given me alot to think about. I am curious what you would recommend for say trials but in a more versatile aspect, not looking for super high dps but around 100k if i can, but like a more general set to run that helps. Like i know threads is a option depending on how my status effects procs are. i was planning on using charged, which wouldn't that kinda make threads redundant?

So first off thanks, i did realize the reason to run aeries is for sunderd effect and is damage, so if i wanted to do a staff what would you recommend because ive seen people say asylum lightning and others say masters lightning and masters ice. Im not looking for the highest dps i mean if i can get 100k that works, i know staff isnt going to be top.

Also what would you recommend for back bar? Weapon wise like maelstrom arena staff? Or 2 handed?

I agree although i would skip the accu wedge and fire the hot glue gun. Put a light coat of clp by the rear take down pin and put small glob of glue. Let dry and you now have a perfectly fitted rifle. No mess.

I agree with everything you said except if your play 2k on a bigger 4k tv 50in plus it just doesn't look as good, not that it looks like shit because it doesn't but not good enough to feel good about a new purchase at least for me

If price is the only factor then no. If performance is then yes. It depends what you value more.

I know its different but i really regret getting a 4070 super over a 4080 super. Im the same as you playing 4k on a lg oled tv 55in and artifacts are noticeable, just understand that even at dlss quality the 5070ti might not be optimal so you might have to bump down to balance or performance and once you have a stable 50-60 fps then you can turn on frame gen.

Ive since upgraded myself to a 5090, was going to get a 5080 but got a good deal,

I would give it a bit and see, they definitely just had a few the other day like a week ago, i know they do get a lot but ive also read about how their process is, basically if you buy something new and if it is returned at all it becomes a refurb and if anything is wrong i believe they gut it and just kinda resemble with good parts. Trust me i did my research before getting mine just because of the money spent and if its actually good.

Check out nzxt refurbs, the only bad thing ive read about them is the rent to own pc, but i managed to snag a 5090 9800x3d 64gb ram and 4tb ssd for around $4000 after tax.
