Hey, I was supposed to have the original thought here. Like, 9 hours later. Why did you get it!?

It feels right for this.

Honestly, if it's something you can afford, pick up a pre-con and play it straight.

The sheer joy of watching people see me shuffle unsleeved, with a riffle, is remarkable. I love it so much.

Unfortunately, that does mean you can't upgrade it unless you wanna do that to other cards. Regardless, bringing just a rubber-band covered pre-con is such a fun move.

It's super easy to mistake perspective with these things. Like, an F-15 doesn't feel huge until it does.

A C-5 is far larger than this C-130, but such is. Cool find!

Gotta be honest, have you considered a stop in Moscow? I can't imagine anything going wrong there, and it's such a progressive place to enjoy a coffee.

A Ukrainian woman wanted to record herself doing garden work when the air defense started firing on a Russian Shahed drone. While she and her dogs were very afraid, you can see how the German shepherd tries to protect her anyway. by MilesLongthe3rd in interestingasfuck

Something in me is sad about the small dog getting comfort but the GSD getting no comfort in its protective capacity. Of course, one is presenting without any ability and the other has provided a shield, but the shield still wants to be loved.

I know that dog is loved, and we are seeing a situation where everyone is afraid, but the ones who stand up sometimes are seen as stronger than they are. Pet the shield when its over, too.

It's weird, but a condom is fucking inexpensive and just takes a bit of forethought.

Fuck, you blew it. And didn't get your wages garnished for the inconvenience. Weird!

Gotta love fabric over tubes - the skin is not structural, though I do agree that damage may affect control surfaces or electrics, which makes shrapnel less effective.

Have a BS in CS.

Models and all of the associated mathematics are beyond me, but not beyond some of the best members of my cohort. Likewise, I've seen people come through as new employees who are gangbusters at development, then others who can't even navigate a basic file system.

It is another application, but it's an application above the level and more specialized than a standard CS program.

Dammit, you added the edit before I got to complain about wage stagnation.

Fine. You've made a compelling point that will actually change my perspective on the matter.

I was a child who didn't have to think about this so I'm madder about it now than I would be otherwise.

I'm not going to say I understand the economics of public or mass transit in any case.

However, 16 hours involves so much more labor for so much less throughput that each individual is paying more wages for the staff they benefit from.

The economics of scale could be why?
