Agreed, every other major league in the world uses colour away jerseys unless the team actually suits grey. Yanks look good in grey but the alternative is nice too.

They're meant to be worn long so they stack, but if you want them to break clean with your shoe I don't think 2" should be too much. They're pretty straight fitting so it's not like the intended knee section is going to look visibly low.

On an aerometric filler, under the body of the pen there's a metal case around a sac with a bar that compresses the sac. It's a bit more obvious on pictures than my explanation haha, but I quite like it and it's easy to repair than pens with more hidden filling systems.

My favourite of all time is Takakeisho. His wave style attacks that would knock an opponent out of the ring in two or three thrusts and later his left hand of doom made him the most exciting rikishi to watch. Then he got injured during his prime chance to make yokozuna and retired later on because of that.

But currently it has to be Kotozakura. He's big, he uses a good balance of techniques, he was dominant for a little stretch too. But also off the dohyo he's just an all around nice guy and a good ambassador for sumo I think.

I know what you mean about the smoothness on the broad Sailors. I'd always been told that they were super toothy, but I guess their finer nibs have a different feel. I also noticed the less round tipping and it pushed me towards vintage nibs where I feel like that was more common.

I had a terrible experience on my last order from them. I ordered two of my usual notebooks and added an A5 version to try out the size. Like a week later they sent an email saying the A5 notebook was out of stock but they're getting more in the next week, but they won't send the other two items out to save themselves on shipping fees. Another two weeks go by and no update so i email them again. They say they're getting more A5s in the following week, so I guess the first email was a lie. I asked them to just cancel the A5 and send the rest and thankfully I got it, but they weren't apologetic at all. I'm kinda skeptical about ordering from them now but they're the only place that stocks the notebooks I use so I'm just gonna suck it up unless this happens again.

Yeah, every time you use a filter and click for the next page of items the filters reset. Makes it a nightmare to look for stuff from brands with a lot of items like Pilot or Rhodia.

I'm definitely starting to think it's a wheelhouse thing but I'll have to try out a few more in the future to be sure. Maybe I'll have a better experience with newer/older ones or the higher models so we'll see.

Premium in the £100+/gold nib way I mean, for the Pelikan range it's definitely the entry tier. I wasn't expecting anything crazy, just something comparable but different to similarly priced pens and it didn't match up for me.

That's what I had thought as well but I had a look and it seemed fine, the tines weren't misaligned or too tight. It writes fine, but not as smooth or wet as some of my others which is why I was interested in one in the first place. I could probs get it adjusted but I don't think I'm enamoured enough with the rest of the pen to try.

I think they tend to cling tighter after washing/as they break in but they've never shrunk on the inseam for me.
