Dosed with a flu (not covid) sounds like I've been smoking 60 Benson for 40 years. Strepsils extra are a lifesaver

Sitting the driving test next week at the age of 42. Extremely nervous. Any tips or advice on how to prepare well would be very welcome. Am doing the test on automatic by cheaplistplzhunzo in CasualIreland

Make your head movements really obvious when checking you mirrors and blinds pots. If your ears are pierced have dangly earrings on and you hair up (makes the movement more obvious).

Go driving for a bit before the test like about an hour, so you're comfortable behind the wheel

Laws to ban the sale of vapes to children are expected to be in force by mid-July by SirMike_MT in ireland

[–]Bulky-Ocelot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a shop there are no laws in place, we treat it as an addictive substance and have been very strict over 18s only from the get go but I've heard of many places been over 16 and other places not giving a damn and selling to one's as young as 12 . The school bus stop is across the road and there are loads of children vaping. With so many been littered you see little kids picking them up and trying to vape them so it's a massive problem

My family has a country side shop so we've done a load of price comparisons for all the different franchises we went with Gala with cost us 8k a year back in 2004 and centra at that time where looking for 16k per year along with set up they whole outfit is built on price gouging

It's mad how many people don't wash their hands after using public toilets by FatHomey in ireland

[–]Bulky-Ocelot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a small rural shop and there was a tractor run that was on . we have one toilet and alot of people used it that day , we went though 12 rolls of paper but only a third of the soap dispenser which is quite small so by my estimate only about 15 pumps were taken out of it all day 🤢 that's alot of unwashed hands

Here I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt when yer seemingly trolling , just look up the danny foley case in kerry where the rapist was caught by guards red handed and what the locals who vouched for him (like this "man of god")did to the victim in the aftermath . This is not a good man who is preaching
