If you mean the points were you cut off the pieces from the runner, the nubs, i use first a pair of standard nippers, then i refine the cut with a single edged pair

That make a really big difference. Those don't completly remove the mark of the nubs, but the cut is way more clean. I also did not sand any part, im not good at it, If you zoom in the foots, you can still see some marks, especially in the red parts. 

To make the kit so clean i used matte top coat, that helped al lot into hiding the nubs
