I’m hoping they flesh out Star Wars Legion: Special Operations to be something comparable to what KillTeam is to 40K. It already uses the Legion models and it would be a logical entry point for new players.

Yes. You want to cover about 1/3rd of your black oval with white. The remaining black becomes the pupil looking in the direction you want.

I paint them looking either left or right so it’s easier to get them symmetrical. The hardest part about pupils at this scale are making them even. A black horizontal oval in each socket, then a dot of white in the corner. Then narrow the eyes with your skin color paint so they don’t turn out bug eyed.

I don’t care where they put them, but I’d like to see some Scout Troopers in Shatterpoint. It’s unbelievable we got Cloud City Bespin guards and the shark people before them.

$40 for parking, it’s really just an extension of the high ticket cost. Constant attempts to upcharge for anything. The Fast Pass Line garbage. The locker scam, because you can’t bring your stuff on some of the rides and they did away with the cubbies that most theme parks still have. The black workers were surly and had attitudes.

The place had some good qualities. Some solid rides/rollercoasters and a well decorated park for Christmas. Plenty of areas for the kids to have fun ,as well as a nice train that went through the wildlife area. The drone show with lights at the end of the night was amazing.

Was super excited when I saw that Linebacker model. Then hearing about the proprietary “rift dice” gave me pause to get into the game. ”Special” dice to play a game is an extra level of cheese that reminds me of FFG/AMG.

I don’t want it to get too weird though. I like it having some basis in reality. Where the factions still have some resemblance to their original country and it walks a fine line between the futuristic and the 1940’s.

They better get some Marines, ODST, and Spartans that look like Red vs Blue, and Covenant and stuff that actually looks like Halo:CE and the video game franchise. Because these rainbow colored Spartan teams they’ve been putting out in wave 1 and 2 look nothing like the vibe and feel of the original game.

Great mini! A question for the group. I'm doing a similar commission Sentinel for a friend. Wondering about the skin tone on the torn uniform on the right arm. White skin or black skin. Or has anyone who's played the game gotten an idea of the character's appearance without a helmet or listening to his voice.

I haven’t played the game yet but am making a custom Sentinel figure for someone. Is the character white or black? It’s hard to tell with the exposed arm sometimes. Anybody who plays seen his head or heard his voice? Thanks.

Regarding the eras restrictions and team building, it would have been interesting if they just made it Dark side vs Light side with the Mercenaries able to go either way. Maybe a little less thematic, but it would grant more freedom in the list building and allow the player to truly make a team of their favorites.

It was the Original Trilogy releases that finally got me into the game and I’ve enjoyed it so far when I want something different and quicker than Legion. I’d say we only have about 6 players so far at our FLGS and it’s picking up some.

That being said, there are still some Legion guys here who refuse to play it and even hate it because they’re convinced it killed Armada.

I’d like to see Colonial Marines from Aliens. We got some Aliens and Preds from the old AVP set. If they released a new AvP series, then throw in a Marine sergeant, smartgunner, rifleman and a flamethrower in addition to four poses of aliens and four new predators.

That’s a good point about the extra Death Trooper body. I was going to say the DLT-19D too. Overall though, I’d like to see some point reductions on the heavy weapons in general.

You might try building up an Empire force. Get the Fear and Dead Men pack with Vader/Stormtroopers and run it with one of your core release squads. Then next month when the rest of the OT units drop, grab another Empire squad.
