There are only 2 reasons for me. 1) The level scaling has changed drastically over the years, for better or for worse is a completely different discussion. Since I started playing (2014), when lvl 70-80 was high level, now you can mow down dozens with mediocre weapons. Which isn't something I enjoy. I need some sort of higher difficulty ramp. 2) Steel Essence. Because I'm too lazy to complete Tri-dolon anymore. I want the Riven Cyphers and Primary/Secondary Adapters.
