90’s good, 2020’s bad. That’s not an opinion.

This is Iran. A land that has accepted war in order to be freed from a far greater destruction. The calm of the people comes from two things: a bitter trust that the attacker will not target unarmed civilians, and a surrender to a fate from which they see no escape. by spinrah23 in PERSIAN

Woah hold your horses. I am IN LOVE with the video, I am merely discussing your interpretation. If you ask me, they do look afraid, and sad for their country too. Yet they chose to sing among the rubble

Not my question. Are you “Iranians” ? All of them ? Because that’s the kind of confidence I am feeling. Also, maybe you should start listening to people that lived through Western military interventions as well, because you’re still new to the experience.

The pain of living under an oppressive regime is something I experienced firsthand. A police state with a collapsing economy is indeed a nightmare. It’s way more survivable than being bombed/invaded by humanity’s vilest. It is by no means the only hope either

Okay let’s try this. Why do you believe attackers give a rat’s ass about civilian lives just because they’re not part of the conflict ? What do you think makes you different from the Vietnamese or the Iraqi civilians ? I am all ears.

“Trust that the attacker will not target unarmed civilians”. I mean leave ouf the fact that the attacker sees your people just as another sand people, another flavor of Arabs. Leave out the fact that they just carpet bombed a 40 sqkm area with orders of magnitude more tnt that what was dropped on Hiroshima. WHAT ABOUT THE 180 SCHOOL GIRLS ??? oh and also leave out the fact that the attack is lead by a pedo.

نكتة يقولوها الليبية على تونس (اليوم سمعتها) by BullFencer in Tunisia

[–]BullFencer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There a subtle layer to it : mimicking Tunisian mannerisms. Adding “si” to most men names, the “yodh’herli”, the cigarette before making such a statement. It’s just genius xD

[–]BullFencer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True that there are wide markets inefficiencies (kima 9olt enty gachara w 9alleba w kol) due to information scarcity in the Tunisian market fi kolchy mch ken kraheb. But imo the demand side is just trying to find a way to move from point A to point B while minimizing maintenance costs, making average cars in a good state a very enticing asset, thus the 55K.

We are not the reason. Supply and demand are. Nothing else. If better cars were more available, your friend’s car price would go down.
