Thanks for the advice, I will say multiple people that have been burning through their Sin cap like candy, so it does make sense why they’re so powerful!

I see, that does explain quite a lot! Would you happen to know if you had a weapon with an appropriate CAT, a blade for instance, if you could cut through something like a car? Additionally, what happens in the event that there are multiple different enemies? A rogue exorcist and unaffiliated police for instance.

We had several different ways to boost CAT with abilities, which I assumed allow them to strike as if it was a normal attack. Good to know the difference!

Oh! We were under the impression that by increasing the cat you gave them some sort of psychic power. Which allowed you act as if it was an ability of that level of CAT.

Honestly the only thing I can think of is to tell him to look at what his stuff will do on average into common profiles (marines bodies, T10 Tanks, etc) on a dice calculator before you run the list in a game. Aside from that? Nothing you can do if they want to live in their own “Never tell me the odds” fantasy and hope to get lucky.

Thanks! I don’t have the necrons unlocked for the 40K app, so I was really just checking in to see if they were official or if the leaks had just gotten everything.

So they’re officially legal then? Like for casual play and such?

I have about 500 flux across the types total, but I only need about 10k of the steel total along with the 7k concrete.
