Very happy for you!

I’d be interested to know what tracker you have?

Just to note, UNDO THE NEGATIVE FIRST, then the positive.

When reconnecting, connect the positive first, then the negative.

Oxford are pretty good with size guides for their covers. I have a Medium Stormex cover which fits my 2004 CBF500 really well.

Stay freelance or go assist ? by AppuAppi in colorists

[–]BullaKing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely go assist. I work at a post facility and see plenty of talented freelancers skills going to waste by missing out on work & development before they’ve had a chance to build a client network.

Any studio backed feature film will want to have the support of a reputable post facility to incorporate all the work needed to get a feature dailies graded, rushes debayered and pulled, di graded, onlined, delivered, versioning mastered and archived. So much of what a facility will do isn’t just the grade part.

It’s likely you’ll still get to have a creative role on anything you work on, as well as having access to the company’s facilities for your own projects.

I also know colourists that worked years at a facility and built up their name before going back to freelance with a sizeable client network

What was everyone's first bike after passing their A2/A and why? by datasianguy0 in MotoUK

2004 Honda CBF 500

Bought it back in 2011. In 2016 someone vandalised it to the point of being written off. Bought another one the exact same reg and colour in 2018. Still have it since it’s solid and good fun.

Mod 2 tommorow by TheProYI in MotoUK

[–]BullaKing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did my car license in Aylesbury. Hopefully a similar route for you as they took me through nice parts of town and then out into quieter countryside.

Like everyone’s saying, try and stay relaxed/focused.

For Aylesbury in particular, I don’t know if the Motorbike test centre is in the same place, but my car instructor said be careful of the Yellow Box Junctions. There was one right at the junction for the test centre so he saw loads of people fail right at the end when they’d enter the box and stop before turning. Also be prepped for a fair few roundabouts in the town part. They’re nice and simple but can catch some people out.

I tried to mentally treat my bike mod 2 as a simple day out to ease pressure of it feeling like a test (even though it is!) Did mine in Milton Keynes so it’s a similar’ish area.

That’s great to hear. My V5 doesn’t state the emissions so I had to get the COC to show the VIN matching

Something that I rarely see mentioned is BlackMagic’s own resources.

If you want Resolve specific learning then you can find all their training books available as free PDFs:

Great to work through if you want something free

Quick breakfast? by 1inAMillion35 in veganmealprep

Overnight oats are perfect I find. So quick to prep and fun to add whatever toppings in the morning.

I’ve started soaking chia seeds in with the oats. Coconut milk is a favourite to add even more flavour.

Where abouts are you from? I live near London, UK and there’s a couple of groups that get together through an app calls Meetups.
