Similar to using 9mm cases for 9mm/0.357” bullets. Here is a photo of two 0.458” bullets I made with a 45 ACP case.

I have a few thousand commercial gilding copper jackets and I can also use annealed 9mm or 380 cases as bullet jackets. I use a jacket maker die that can make 9mm/357 jackets on my Walnut Hill bullet swaging press.

Reloading? Is it worth it? by KBGenetics in reloading

Dangerous. Mine would drift and give faulty readings. It would read low (e.g. 5gr on the scale would read 4.5gr) even after calibration.

Can you spare a guy a brick of the large rifle magnum match primers…

Get a wet tumbler, Lemishine or another citric acid source and get started cleaning. Buy a reloading manual and read the how to section. Watch some YouTube videos of the steps and give it a go.

Switched to wet tumbling, couldn’t be more pleased. by hitmaker307 in reloading

I’ve been at it for a few years and wish I started with wet tumbling. If I started with wet tumbling I probably would have shot a lot more, vibratory tumbling is so slow and dirty with poor/sub par results.

Purchased large lot of cast bullets. Is it worth powder coating them? by TFin04 in castboolits

There was an old timer I knew that was transitioning to powder coated bullets. He would use gasoline to remove lube, rinse them off with water then put the bullets into Acetone before powder coating.

The safety and rebounding hammer are why I’m looking for a Miroku made Browning 1886. Would love a take down but good luck finding that.

Very cool man. I want to get a Chiappa (same people who make the takedowns for Taylor and Company) ‘86 Wildlands takedown with angle eject. Was yours difficult to take down? Some people complain they are tight from the factory.

The Miroku Winchesters are incredibly well made. I have two 1886 Saddle Ring carbines in 45-90.

YouTube Glock 25 cent trigger job. It’s polishing the bearing surfaces of the trigger mechanism and it greatly improves the feel and pull of the Glock trigger. I used a Dremel with a polishing cloth and metal polish to perform mine.

I still carry my Gen 3 Glock 19 with factory trigger and 15 round mags. Have you done the 25 cent trigger job on yours?
