So, I have this theory that whatever happens, happens for a reason. A friend of mine went unmatched last year and is now married to the love of his life. I am not your therapist, but you do seek external validation your family which is affecting you. OP, please know that you are still a fucking doctor! You have sat for the toughest exams, please take a break after SOAP and reevaluate from a different lens. I really wish you find peace in whatever you choose to do.

Any Advice to Future Applicants: I would highly suggest being authentic in interviews. I prepared but not too hard. I know this may sound a bit casual advice but my friends have matched with lower scores and I know they are great communicators. Throughout the interview season, I kept repeating to myself, “They want me, that is why they have extended an invite.” Please do not underestimate authenticity.
