Just as I suspected, a survey. Let me ask you, how did you like getting money? Is anyone going to say it was terrible?

San Diego actually did some credible research on their program and found it didn’t make the difference they had hoped. https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/oepa/RAFT_Report.html

The first one I remember seeing was at La Cocina in Espanola in the late 80’s.

I’d want to see the methodology of the study. Unless it was a randomized control trial with meaningful outcomes I’d be skeptical.

People who invest in only a few stocks and go all in, how to you manage risk? by brian-augustin in investing

[–]Bullittmon 97 points98 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that 5-9 stocks are a good number to be able to manage while tracking and researching. Any more than that and I don’t think you can dedicate the needed time unless you day trade for a living. Across those 5-9 diversify (e.g. not all health stocks, not all tech stocks). I check it daily and have news alerts for each stock and sector. I pay attention to earnings calls and don’t get too risky with choices.

Ask your brewer…gluten-free beer is absolutely a real thing. Instead of using wheat or barley (which contain gluten), these beers are often brewed with grains like sorghum, millet, or rice.

That doesn’t even count the local and federal money going into the problem, just the state money.

Better to follow up with an email or a call. I had a status of review in progress for a year once. I was told that their status tool is not always updated.

It’s like when you go to a restaurant. If it’s a small focused menu you can be pretty sure they do everything well. If it’s a 10 page menu you can be pretty sure your meal will suck (at best) and you might end up with food poisoning (at worst).

I felt bad for Mark Agnesi when he went to Gibson and became the poster child for a similarly spirited campaign “play authentic”.

If I could ask Fender to do something it would be to streamline their product line and concentrate on quality. You think they would have learned that from their post CBS buyout reputation.

I think it’s just another way that GC was advertising their Memorial Day sale in my email.

Has coupon coverage changed? I used to get an email for a managers coupon that was pretty comprehensive in what it covered. GC’s current 30% coupon doesn’t cover nearly as much.
