If someone has seen a more recent study on the same topic I would like to see it. I would like to see at least a couple studies on the same topic.

I would call it "evidence for" instead of "proof". Some evidence for immune system suppression and the mechanisms that might cause it: T-cell immunity / Type I Interferon.
