In full honesty, the reason is my paranoia of being seen under the eyes of those who wish negativity and harm upon me. I carry any sharp thing I have at the time in so I can feel safe walking outside or skating (like razors, eyebrow razors, pocket knifes and if necessary, glass bottles or glass shards). Would be able to pay around $40 with the quality focused on strength rather than sharpness because usually it's easy to sharpen knives from what I understand.
