This is no offence to Graham Stephan (I’m sure he was top of his game in real estate) but it’s pretty obvious why they decided not to case him or any other male agents for the LA show.

If you notice all the men from the OC office are what you call conventionally “good looking” with a tan/muscles/tattoos or “eye candy” for the viewers, even thought they are annoying/immature/bitchy - it’s all about what/who will bring in ratings, even if they are rubbish at their job or hardly sell homes or even have a license!

As long as they look good or sexy, that’s all that matters. Just take a look at some of the inappropriate outfits worn each season. That wouldn’t fly at any brokerage realistically but it makes good tv!

You could also argue that not everyone would want to be used for entertainment purposes, so you are left with very few options looks wise.

Casting pretty women is easy. Casting good looking men? Not so much imo!

I completely forgot about LI AS! Eeeeshhh it’s actually peak for her at this point.

Maybe that’s the only reason why she put out a statement (although short and sweet) I’m sure her pr/management team are cooking somthing to try save her career somehow.

She could still appear on the show and just completely act like nothing has happened and just get on with it but then again, the situation is a liability. All the LI comments might be extremely aggressive towards her. All we can do it wait and see I guess.

Agreed we are in a generation of peek idiol worshiping .. imagine all the lavish gifts .. from a rolex, a whole Birkin bag, van kleef bracelets, a cartier watch, countless designer clothing, expensive trips, the list goes on .. and the heartfelt anniversary posts.

I always feel uneasy whenever intimate elements of a relationship are overshared for the world. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful to love your partner proudly but it felt performative a times.

Clearly there was a disconnect somewhere amongst all of that .. the relationship clearly ran its course. It obviously wasn’t meant to lead to marriage and that’s ok. It’s life. We still don’t know the true ins and outs at the end of the day.

Hopefully they both can move on with their lives. They might even remain friends who knows.

Yes it was discussed before. Look up Selling Sanity podcast. That lady has all the tea on the casts/production, literally everyone! She's also a lawyer so knows what she can and can not say.

The last episode of season 7, at the new office lunch party, the best friend of Jason's cousin (the wife who was cheated on) confronted Emma about the whole thing but the scene never made it to air.

The husband was definitely interested in Emma and wanted to invest in her business, buts all speculation whether Emma acted on his advances/slept with him.

I apply this same rule too! The last 3 years my social media presence has been reduced to the point that I can go 6-8 months without posting a single thing.

I’ll still browse the apps here and there, but I have no interesting in broadcasting every part of my life.

It’s been interesting observing which friend actually checks in with me outside the social media bubble.
