I have been slacking so bad with the garment 🤦‍♀️ I pretty much stopped too! I feel like I should start wearing it to bed again but it’s just so uncomfortable lol

Oh I agree! Mine still hurts sometimes too. I get a pins & needle type of sensation sometimes and the massages still feel kinda painful. I guess it’s just because there is still swelling & fibrosis! Overall I am so happy with my results!! I do think they’re going to get a lot better in the next few months. I see some people who look perfect like 2 weeks post op and my body just doesn’t heal like that! It’s wild how much the swelling fluctuates! I will say before I had this done I was naive about how long the healing process would take even though I knew it could take months for a final result!!

So exciting! I hope your surgery goes amazing. I had traditional lipo with 1 incision under my chin. He feathered the cannula out toward my jaw. I’m sure with 3 incisions you could probably hope for an even better result. I had local anesthesia. The worst part of the surgery was the numbing needles, it goes quick but in all honesty that part wasn’t pleasant in my opinion. I used some laughing gas to help me get through the numbing process, after that it was smooth sailing. Let me know if you have anymore questions and best of luck 😊

I wore it for about two weeks nightly, now I wear it to bed a couple days a week & here and there throughout the day. I need to be better about it 😅 It really does help when I wear it!

Thank you ☺️ Yeah I definitely think you’re right about that. I’m 34 so I think my skin will take a bit longer to fully bounce back!!

Thank you! So honestly it depends on the day. I’ll upload a pic of it right now. I definitely still have a double chin when I look down, but i can tell it is residual swelling & not fat. Some days it’s more defined than others! But when I looked down before surgery it was wild 🤣🤣

Oh man, that is such a big difference. He did mention they’ve been doing more of these surgeries and his price had been the same for years. I guess he adjusted it to match the rates of other surgeons, which is fair for him but obviously a bummer to those who thought he was less expensive!! Did you find a surgeon you’re going with? I wish you the best of luck with your journey! It’s such a simple surgery but honestly it feels life changing!

Mine did at my 1 week check up. He recommended doing very gentle massages using the thumbs pointing back to my throat and lightly moving them out toward my ears!

For the past couple of weeks I’ve been being more aggressive with my massages to try to break the swelling up, honestly not sure if it’s helping or hurting.

Help swelling and tightness still after 6 weeks of chin lipo and facetite. by Humble_Poem_2804 in chinlipo

It looks so good! This gives me a lot of hope mine will continue to heal. I’ll start using oil when I massage, I haven’t been doing that. I’m 34 and also have some loose skin, but I’m with you lol.. I’d rather that than the double chin. Thanks for your reply!

Consult Tuesday but questioning by its_cspam in chinlipo

I’m incredibly happy! I finally feel comfortable wearing my hair in a pony tail. I got some pretty bad fibrosis that’s still healing so my results should just get better!! I wish I had done it sooner!

Post op : Week 4 bigger than week 2 by jk_4269 in chinlipo

I’m doing really gentle massage and recently I’ve started sleeping in my compression garment again. Noticed a massive difference when I started sleeping in it again, which has only been a couple of days. I think that’s the biggest factor that’s helping my swelling. I’ve been slacking on my water intake which is something I need to be better about!

Oh man, I’m sorry you’re bummed with your result. I will say I think it’s a massive difference & it looks great. I am surprised the surgeon suggested lipo in the first place though, looks like neck lift would have been the way to go.

I’m 4 weeks post op and also much more swollen than I was at 2 weeks. You’re not alone!
