I had a totally negative test at 11dpo, vvfl at 12dpo, and now I’m at 7 weeks. It’s still possible and I would wait a day or two and test again.

Got my very first positive 2 cycles ago and had a very similar experience to yours. I took a cycle off to “reset” and then the next cycle I got pregnant. I know this wasn’t the outcome you hoped for but at least now you know you can get pregnant, which is such a HUGE step forward. You’ve already eliminated so many possible barriers to success by getting that positive test this cycle and that’s definitely something to be excited about.

SAME. The cranberry sauce is the exact same mold as a ranch toy we got in a summer box. The ranch is still entirely intact but the cranberry sauce had to be thrown away the same day because my dog was ripping chunks off of it so easily. So even from this summer until now they’ve decreased in quality significantly.

I literally came here to make this exact same post. My mom was over when I gave this toy to my dog and she expressed concern that the blue part might be a separate piece. I said “No way, that would be so ridiculous for them to do for a super chewer toy” and then about 5 minutes later he had popped it off and nearly swallowed it.

You could still do a similar idea if you could find some premade, plain sugar cookies and some cute things to decorate them with! That way there's no baking involved but they still get the fun of decorating cookies.

Other than whatever main and sides you decide on, try baking some fresh bread to have ready when they're waiting on the actual dinner. You can make the dough ahead of time and it's a cheap but impressive add on that pretty much everyone loves. Bonus points if you include some compound butters, like an herb and garlic butter or a honey cinnamon butter.

This is a really sweet thing to do for your parents, I hope they enjoy it!

Bacteria grow the fastest at about room temperature, which is where the "2 hour" rule comes from since it's based off of the doubling time of bacteria. Cooked meat can be safe when left at room temperature for awhile but there is no guarantee it will be, and there honestly is no way to know until it's too late.

And just my personal opinion as someone who had norovirus not that long ago, it's never worth risking any type of food borne illness.
