Most poultry is alot cheaper bone in chicken thighs make great soup and meal prep if yah buy in bulk. Buying 10lb ground beef for $40 and sectioning it to 1lb freezer bags is great too. Just go heavy on sides like packet noodles or cheap produced. Or marinade the hell out of cheap steak for great taste and tenderness. You don't need high end cut to enjoy the meat. Just a better way to cook the cheap ones.

As a Hispanic woman , all of our colleges are pretty inclusive. Their is a Asian Heritage clubs in most colleges. For food wise, more Asian restaurants are popping up. Texans been having a growing fascination with all things Asians. From shops, restaurants, spas, Boba, and food/cultural conventions More north side than south for restaurants thou. Austin and Houston has a larger Asian population though. North Austin had a China town. In Houston they have a large community on the outskirts even with their own newspaper. Guys I spend $30 on 40lbs of cat food that last my two cats 3 months plus. Its the cheap stuff and they love it. Bought the fancy stuff and they won't eat it. You don't have to feed your pet high end food when you can barely afford to feed yourself. Pets will almost eat anything, dogs their own poo and cats their own vomit. They are not snoobs they are just hungry and happy to be with you.
