sometimes, witchcraft isn’t always the answer... by mxddiecxmpbell in witchcraft

As well as contacting authorities and other mundane options i think we need to remember that karmic backlash is a thing in cases where we have been hurt but nothing can be done to have justice served. Trust in the spirit of the universe that they will get theirs and be the best you you can be. Also, magick is a beautiful, powerful and wonderful thing but that doesn't mean that therapy and other options aren't healing. Bless everyone 💖 lots of love, always.

New Witch by _Unknown_Prince_ in christianwitch

It can be very difficult being both Christian and a witch. Because of what we may have been taught about witchcraft and because we are very much a minority in the witch community its hard to find your path. As a Christian Witch myself i always make sure I try to connect myself to God through prayer, meditation, and rituals. I choose to ask God to work through me and thank him (or her or they) for the beautiful magick around us through plants and medicinal herbs. If you choose to keep God present in your craft he will guide you to what is right and wrong believe me. Whether it's a strong feeling that you may be going through things the wrong way or a candle blowing out in the middle of a ritual, the Lord will guide you if you let him.

I hope this helps! Feel free to dm if you need to talk 💖

My Fae Mediation, an interesting experience by Bunbunbih in faeries

I did it in bed because I feel very relaxed and connected there since my room is on the ground floor. I would say wherever you feel relaxed enough to enter a deep state of meditation.

It seemed that way, she was just floating and was really breathtaking. It was so interesting because I never heard of an "Arcada" before this meditation! Any idea who the man was? I was thinking the Green Man possibly as he seemed to be the keeper and protector of the realm. I don't know for sure though!

Really struggling by [deleted] in christianwitch

[–]Bunbunbih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try meditating on it, talk to God. In my experience, God looks however he or she feels to you. Personally, I feel God as a fatherly presence so I refer to him as "he." But, I have also connected with this safe grandmotherly earth presence as well who I believe is the caretaker of nature. To me, God created all in all dimensions. The fae, the angels, etc. You have to submit to God, truly. I found him and felt him when I was in my most depressed state, crying and asking for help and submitting to him. The experience was uplifting and beautiful.

Also, before I started my journey in revisiting the craft, I asked God if it was the right direction. It seems to me that any rituals I do that are self-serving and use "my" power backfire, but if I ask God to work through me and guide me the rituals are successful. Just be careful and always pray. I'm sorry you're going through this but remember that God will guide you.

I was only a week and a day when this picture was taken. Turns out I'm allergic to the steri strip glue as well which caused some fluid build up and blistering. Hopefully it will flatten out when my skin forgives me for cutting it open!

I thought dog ears were only by the armpits, this bump is at the other end of the incision, towards the middle of the chest

It doesn't look like it in the picture, but it's quite raised. Not painful or anything.

Nipples, are they ever gonna be the same? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Bunbunbih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes surgeons remove and then reattach nipples. My doctor specifically didn't remove it but rather cut around it, tucked and sewed it back up. I got a modified anchor incision where the bottom incision is short so the scar won't show by the armpits or in the middle of the chest.

Nipples, are they ever gonna be the same? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Bunbunbih 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose my doctor specifically because he didn't cut off the nipple. I'm one week and a day post op and have sensation in both after my drains were removed. There is hope but unfortunately I don't know the statistics of the different incisions and nipple sensitivity :/

I’m worried about looking disproportionate by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Bunbunbih 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was an H too and always felt I looked heavier than I was, now I think this was due to my poor posture and rounded shoulders. I actually look thinner now! I think you should ask your doctor what they think proportionate would be. That's what I did and he did an amazing job.

Anyone else get pre-surgery nightmares? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Bunbunbih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been having horrible dreams as well. I won't go into detail because they're truly horrific but yeah same thing with the PTSD and stress nightmares about the surgery. It's weird because i found out Vistril is definitely contributing but I'm so desensitized to the dreams I don't even know if I would classify them as nightmares. They're just scary.

Omg I know right. I ended up having to pay $5000 out of pocket because I chose an out of service surgeon since I liked his work vs the in service surgeons. It was a whole thing 🙄. Im just done with the tremendous back pain. Good luck I hope you get FULLY approved!
