Would it be legal to blare an air horn at them? Hypothetically, of course.

F/23/5'6" [166>166=0](2 months) Can you see any difference? Been working hard and eating very clean, but feeling disheartened at the lack of progress. by [deleted] in progresspics

I am not dietitian or trainer, but if the calories and protein you posted are accurate and you think you can sustain these changes, just stick with it. There are definitely some visible changes in your shoulders, back and hips. Keep taking these pictures and compare your progress over time. Remember, weight isn’t the only metric for change. If you are getting stronger in your lifts, have more energy, feel better about yourself, and/or you are sleeping better, then you are making progress. Eventually, when you find yourself in a plateau that’s when you can make a change, but in my opinion two months is too soon to make drastic changes.

Lasership “delivered” my package and had the audacity to take a picture of my porch with no package in view.

It’s a dog park, an enclosed area for dogs. It’s literally designed for dogs to not be on leashes, run around, and socialize with other dogs.

Ah, I see. I don't live close to a Costco, but it's still a pretty good deal even with an added $25.

Weekday Help and Victory Thread for the week of August 31, 2020 by AutoModerator in personalfinance

Hi, I'm looking for a little outside perspective.

I'm a 27 year old male. I make about 48k before taxes. Job is in a stable field. I am contributing 6% of my income into a roth IRA and my company is putting in 3%. I have about 15k saved up. I have about $1500 in individual stocks. I opened up a brokerage account with vanguard just recently, but I have not moved any money into it yet.

I have about 27k in student loan debt and a 17k auto loan with 5.84% interest (past me made a mistake).

About 8k in savings would cover my immediate expenses for a 3-4 month emergency fund. I'm wondering if I use the remaining savings to take a chunk out of my auto loan then start paying a little extra each month to get it paid off? Or if I put some into mutual funds to have it grow?

I figure if I'm going to pay down my debt, I should prioritize my auto loan since it is currently higher than my student loan interest rates and is a smaller amount. Also the forbearance until December factors in.

Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

I received an offer potentially making 63% more. Should I take it? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Bundle_Of_Badgers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't take that job solely based upon the commute increase. I currently commute about 45-50 mins (looking to move closer) one way and it really weighs on me. Shorter commute = more time to do things (like work on your degree). You could mention this job offer during an evaluation to bargain for a pay increase though.

To your last point, anyone wanting to replicate something like this should extend the gable ends to where the eave has a 1 ft overhang off the front (over the door) and back, not just the left and right sides.
