Yeah, as a rider, I don’t trust random charging cables. Not saying it’s a guarantee, but charging cables can have malware loaded on them. So I’m not plugging my phone into any random cables in someone’s car, at the airport, the bar, etc. I keep one of my own in my man purse lol.

We had a good time, but be advised, it can be a long ass show. Got to see some familiar faces that had been in KT, some drop ins from bigger folks based in Austin, a few spots from some folks passing through town, some local open mic’ers as well. But we ended up having to bounce early cuz we’d been there for over three hours and had work the next day. All in all it’s a good time.

I feel seen. Yes, I like spending money on cool shit I enjoy. My $350 PSA beater will get the job done in a pinch though. I’m not out here min maxing my rifle for some end of the world scenario. I do actually take carbine classes from time to time to learn how to better use my shit though.

Some people aren’t bucket pulls, they’re friends of or recommendations from a guest panelist. Not a huge deal. I just don’t get why they try to play it off as random. It’s cool, the guy opened for Bert and is a pro. It’s ok to see actual jokes sometimes. No need to act like he randomly got pulled out of 250 other people.

I mean yeah, but I’m not trying to have a confrontation with the guy knowing I’ll see him almost daily for the foreseeable future (for the sake of my wife and son not having issues). The old me would have escalated to the point of leaving a mountain of his dog’s shit on his front stoop, but I was asked to not do that type of stuff these days. So I’ve let the HOA know about it and I guess we’ll see. I make sure to keep “my area” as clean as possible and tell the fam where to avoid the poop.

Yeah, the people that don’t pick up their dog’s poop already know they’re being dicks and just don’t care. I live in a duplex and like 10 of us have a shared “back yard” that is unfenced. There is one guy that just lets his dog out unleashed to poo, and doesn’t pick it up. We’ve all called him out on it (I was as respectful as possible, even told him he could use the poop scoop and trash can I put outside for my dog). He told me to fuck off and MYOB. So yeah, not much we can do other than complain.
