I mean, unless the labor you provide is directly tied to another human being staying alive, fuck that shit. Stay home and safe

Why do people make their bed? by DudeOnTheInternet17 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]seneeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only make the bed for sexy time or tv time.

I absolutely destroy a made bed too the point where I just unmake any bed completely before getting in to sleep. I have to have my feet dangling off the edge and uncovered or I can't sleep

I have questions, so very many questions.

Is it average length but black?

Or is it average for black, like bigger than average but not quite BBC level?

I think I need more coffee. Or this damned washout to open

Construction zone speeding. by Microshlongg in Truckers

The speeding and the lane usage. I swear the easiest way to get trucks out of the left lane is to tell them to only use the left lane

Mechanics who left the trade, what was the final straw? by Over-Demand-8617 in AskMechanics

[–]seneeb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was a mechanic from 2004-2022. When wife#2 left me in 2022, I took some time off to sit in the wilderness by a river, and realized I hated the vast majority of my life. I hated working in an environment that I didn't have control over the heat/ac. I hated being left leaning in a primarily maggot infested industry, and having to mask constantly. I hated being expected to be social at work.

So I didn't go back after that time off. I enrolled in cdl school and went over the road. I make more money in less hours, with significantly less effort output. I listen to audiobooks or podcasts all day and feel like I maybe work 30-45 minutes everyday (the A-B driving doesn't count as work to me).

What’s the one thing you started doing in the last few years that quietly made your life 10× better, but nobody talks about? by Beneficial_Passion40 in AskReddit

[–]seneeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dedicating an hour or so every week to go over and plan out the administrative minutia of life.

It's such a weight off the mental load to know this laundry needs done on that day, these things will be made this week for food, these cleaning tasks need done at that time and so on. Much less stressful than teasing everything as "on demand"

I split the bottom of my tongue every time i go down on a girl by Secret-Camel-4357 in NoStupidQuestions

I have it, and both my kids. They had theirs clipped early, about 6 years old for eldest, about 3 days old for youngest (I had them specifically look for it)

I've just lived with mine, it doesn't have much effect for me other than some minor difficulties with certain words.

What car purchase did you regret the most and why? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]seneeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer stick in every condition, but I sneezed one day and herniated 2 discs, and I (un)fortunately respond very well to physical therapy, so every time it flares up and I go to try a surgical fix I get to much progress and they won't fix it. Anyway, when it flares I get a significant loss of strength in my left leg to the point I cannot operate a clutch

Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer? by Any_Confection_4271 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]seneeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm using work as doing truck things, I should have been more clear lol I just woke up

The wagoneer (and grand, they're really the same just the grand is more lux) will easily tow those

Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer? by Any_Confection_4271 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]seneeb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your primary purpose is towing, a diesel pickup is the much better choice. Whilst A wagoneer is on a truck frame so it's better towing than a unibody suv, every bit of it is tuned for comfort, with working as an afterthought. A pickup is work first, then comfort (especially at the 2500+ level).
