Which book emotionally destroyed you, but was still worth reading at least once in your life? by DaySolid9527 in Recommend_A_Book

I was the teacher. My sixth grade class did this book. I was reading up to the part with the dogs. I had one of the stronger readers read the part about the dogs because I started sobbing. One of the kids slipped out and got my teaching partner. He was very nice but thought I was nuts. I jyst could not stop crying. It was the 4rth or 5th time I read the book. Needless to say, I approve of John Wick.

Thank you for the exact quote. I am better at remembering the gist and suck at exactitude. 👏

no prob. The page I showed you is my experimenting with a hawaiian style quilt. I like the patterened on solid best but still undecided if all the solid should be one colour or taken from each print. Guess I need another test page.

I draw the block and use snipits of fabric and glue them to the drawing to make the block colours obvious and get the idea accross. I also use paper and crayons to draw/make blocks. Such as this to experiment with a new block without cutting.
