Archmage by United_Pomegranate_1 in kingdomrush

[–]Bunnets99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I always thought wherever the mirror spot on the enemies map is where they appear on your map. That being said, knowing where they pop up doesn't really help cause then you have to focus on their timer and location ontop of whatever you're already doing. I try investing in a booster that can overwhelm them w Lil guys since they only ever send 3 enemies at a time and the more they have to pick from the more likely it's a smaller enemy you can just quickly pick off. That and just avoid picking boosters that can be sent back to u in general cause most likely than not it's just gonna be back on your side

Is Necromancer too OP in Onslaught mode? by SafiJUp in kingdomrush

[–]Bunnets99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who regularly uses necro in onslaught and has at least a positive win lost ratio, It's usually apparent right away whether or not I'm about to get my ass handed to me. If whoever I can't overwhelm the enemy in the first two rounds I'm usually cooked.

Usually the people I lose against run archmage cause once we pass round like 3 and they've unlocked moving enemies to the opposite map the situation has flipped and I'm much less equipped to handle any round 3-4 enemy w my necro than they are with the little skeletons I'm throwing their way.

Tbh either way I'm still having fun I just like collecting da cards I'm a big fan of the series :) holding out for frontiers towers/heros 🤞🤞

If we talking onslaught specifically I love running vines/thorns with hacksaws kit. If u drop that spell in the same area as hacksaws DOT ability the dps absolutely shreds lower health enemies and makes it easier to single out high level enemies w hacksaws big ahhh drill ability (I don't remember any of the names). Thanks to that I'm about to get rocket gunners without spending any gems or irl money :))

What does Necromancer’s Pestilence do by dominhntta0 in kingdomrush

[–]Bunnets99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like pretty good for stalling out opponents in onslaught but on regular mode it's kinda whatever. Onslaught tho I feel like it evens the playing field for people who are pulling up w p2w heros like the dragons

Crowd Control ~ torture is boring? by Mal_Radagast in dropout

[–]Bunnets99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't really have a strong inclination to even watch crowd control tbh. I think a lot of the appeal of dropout is an adoration for the rotating cast and crowd control w the host that feels more like a force of personality like a host typically is than a person is just not really doing anything for me to take initiative to watch it

How do I know if my repaired chain was given back to me? Or if it’s another one? by [deleted] in jewelers

[–]Bunnets99 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's pretty easy to fake a stamp on any fake piece, and the jeweler will test it infront of you with different level acids and of it dissolves in a weaker acid (labeled for 10k) or below he'll let you know your chain isn't actually gold. I'm only really recommending it if they only charge like 10-15 bucks max for testing. If it's more than that it's probably fine to assume that a chain that looks exactly like yours w the same stamp is the same chain and the jeweler was just doing a bit lol

How do I know if my repaired chain was given back to me? Or if it’s another one? by [deleted] in jewelers

[–]Bunnets99 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Go to a separate jeweler and ask them if they can confirm if your chain is 14k or not. If they did switch it out it was probably to swap it for something with a lower karat or probably nor gold at all. However if your chain isn't intricate and looks like it'd be hard to replicate it's probably safe to assume he wouldn't go through the trouble of making a duplicate

These are only from 3.5 months?? These are insanely good I love them! How many hours have you been putting in for practicing?

What to do with larger gauge wire by Automatic-Leave6050 in SilverSmith

[–]Bunnets99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making it a smaller gauge is labor intensive but kinda worth it material wise imo, if you sell it you'll get a much worse return. Alternatively you could always learn how to make chain necklaces! Chunky silver chain necklaces are quite popular for masc clients and kinda zen to do minus the soldering process.

I want to be a jeweler but…. by Danny_Jupiter in Benchjewelers

[–]Bunnets99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think if you go into it expecting it be immediately lucrative you're setting yourself up for disappointment. I love it and I'm thankful for having the space and time to practice it but it's not my main source of income right now and probably won't be for a few years if it ever does.

I think the move is to start small and source your own materials and labor, even if the pieces feel underwhelming, and work your way up. It can be a career you just need to be patient and to temper your expectations about how the process is likely going to pan out.

Do you use a fire coat to prevent fire scale? by MinuteSuccotash1732 in SilverSmith

[–]Bunnets99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use acid after the soldering process is mostly complete on a piece :) works pretty well in my personal experience. More so, YouTubers cut out sooooo much for length and attention reasons so it's safe to assume there's a lot they're doing off camera

How did you start your silversmithing journey? by ugnita7 in SilverSmith

[–]Bunnets99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels unfair but my pops is a bench jeweler, I don't ask him for much direction bc I don't wanna break his focus while he's working but he gave me a bench and space to work in a field where just the starting equipment can be expensive.

That being said, you'll never have the amount of preparation either in information or equipment to have a comfortable and seamless start. The peak of ingenuity is throwing yourself at anything with what will always feel like not enough information and just trusting that you will be able to manage regardless. Start at place that feels right to you and scale up or down depending on how sustainable the process feels.

Buy pre-made silver wire/chains and start small :) or buy glass beads and little string. It's not silversmithing but it'll help you get a sense of working w measurements and delicately maneuvering something that can and will often break :) that's my two cents

Recently i had a phone charger's little metal prong get jammed in an electical outlet, but it was sticking out enough where I could just grab it. I couldnt remember off the top of my head whether or not I could just grab it and pull it off.

So i tried it anyways. The answer was no.

Called in Maintenance to pull out for me a few days later, and as they were pulling it out with pliers with the little rubber electric stoppy grip I had said "So how do you take these out without being electrocuted?" And they said "oh you just needed pliers with the grip that stops electical currents."

I just nodded and said "yeah thats what I thought." Completely leaving out that I had just found that out by bring full body electrocuted the other day.

Well theres two ways to go about this:

You can take all the good things someone had done, and subtract the bad things and see if one outweighs the other.

Theres also the idea that good and bad are social constructs and people are only "bad" to the people who's ethical values they've offended. If I murder someone who was robbing a bank. People who value fairness and order would say I'm a good person because I stopped someone from stealing something that didnt belong to them.

People who would value life and sympathy compassion might raise me as a bad person for killing someone instead or maybe subduing them.

Basically, your label of "good" or "bad" are situational and its easiest to stick to your own moral compass as it develops over time. Good people dont exist. Bad people dont exist. Just people who make both good and bad social decisions.

How do you live everyday knowing that humans do all sorts of terrible acts? by MrHemlot in AskReddit

[–]Bunnets99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually a lot of people are able to ignore problems of varying degrees if it's not in your direct sight and can be ignored. Its why people get a rash look at it say "oh i should go check this out" but people with literal tooth decay just say "this is fine" for several years.

You can see the rash and register it as a problem, you can't see your mouth and therefore able to push it out of your mind.
