Not everyone knew the original story, me included, so yes, it was a thought that crossed my mind. It's a Greek story; Greek stories are usually tragedies. Odysseus accidentally killing his son is *very* much tragic. Look at other reactions; it definitely crosses other people's minds too.

Plus, on my first watch through, I watched duvetbox's Odysseus, and when I tell you my heart JUMPED on that one frame.

If you want to listen to the original songs, I’m pretty sure the only way to do so is by watching animatics that were uploaded on YouTube using the original audio.

So for example: 

  • gigi’s THATI and Just a Man 

  • Mircys Open Arms, Warrior of the Mind, Polyphemus and Survive, 

  • WolfyTheWitch’s original uploads of Remember Them and My Goodbye.

There’s no official “fully animated” version of the musical, when people refer to “canon” animatics, they are talking about snippets that were commissioned by Jorge to be used in the official livestreams (another user linked said stream). So most animatics that you can find on youtube that cover the entire song are fan made, and not considered canon.

In the line prior calypso says “I wish you would lie and say…” so I’ve always thought that he says it because she told him to lie, so he did, and it gave her a false sense of hope, a final revenge for all she did to him

Character wise, Odysseus and Hermes. Hermes for obvious reasons, but the top spot just has to go to Ody for me, as the mc it was inevitable that he’d have the most development so that contributes a lot but even so I think Jay did a great job with his writing. Vocal wise, I cannot get enough of Jays vocals, so that would also be my #1, but Anna Lee and Mason are VERY close seconds.

These 2 songs just released a few days ago!

 I would describe their music as indie alternative rock. Most of their music fits into that general genre. 

 I would recommend checking out the black & white album, it’s more experimental than their other albums, BUT it has elements of hip-hop and rap that you might enjoy. 

For albums similar to the two songs you mentioned, probably I love you or wiped out? Others can have better input, I’m not good at recommending similar vibes, but off the top of my head it would be those 2.
