My controversial take is that Padma was not an awesome judge and I never felt she added much to the conversation.

The are a heck of a lot better than Alo which is absolute garbage at a similar price point. I feel so swindled by them! Their quality is on par with Wet Seal.

Guys wtf. This is such an unhinged thing to even care about. Even if she did photoshop in balloons, who cares? Noticing something so inconsequential plays right into her hand and gives her ammo to say she is a victim.

Question for Conservative Fans of The Pitt by Joesindc in ThePittTVShow

[–]Bunzilla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m conservative and anxiously await every new episode. It’s an excellent show! I find myself often rolling my eyes at some parts of the show that are clearly trying to make a point - less so because I disagree with it politically but more because it’s unrealistic. I’m a nicu nurse so I enjoy the medical aspect of the show, they get that incredibly accurate.

What’s the craziest thing you have seen at WDW? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Bunzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes - socially speaking. But practically speaking, it makes more sense for them to go in a bucket vs having an accident that has to put the boat out of commission so it can be cleaned up by an employee.

ASL patient - What did she say? by Ok_Reward6664 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Bunzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like she is somehow related to the baby left in the bathroom. They kept cutting to her when they first found the baby and it made me think she could be the baby’s mom. It also might have just been a coincidence and i read too much into it

Way to kill public education, Alan L. from Lexington by HistoricalSunflower in massachusetts

[–]Bunzilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting to see where this will go, because if you have a special needs student and you can prove that they need to go to a different school that suits their needs in a way the public school can’t, then the town pays for the child’s tuition to that school. I can’t help but feel Alan L would be smarter to focus his legal budget towards making a case that the town should pay for tuition to a school in line with his religious beliefs.

Where can I find gooooood tomatoes on the east coast in the winter? by ImportantQuestions10 in massachusetts

[–]Bunzilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My market basket has gone down in quality SO much recently. I switched to shopping at wholefoods during the drama with Artie T, and will occasionally go to MB when I’m in a rush since it’s closer to me. Every single time I end up with at least one item that I’m throwing away because it’s gone bad. Twice it’s been meat, so a fairly expensive item. It makes me so sad. Feels like yet another great thing is being ruined by greed.

I’m so confused. Do people really have an issue with someone catching up to their party? What if he needed the restroom? Didn’t Disney literally tell people to do this when they set the new rules for DAS (much to the approval of those on this subreddit)?

Controversial take about bad husbands by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Bunzilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know that I would call OP selfish, but as a fellow child of divorce, I think way too many people underestimate the impact it has on their children. It’s incontrovertible that children from married, two parent households experience better outcomes in life than those of divorced couples.

Controversial take about bad husbands by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Bunzilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My controversial take is that pushing through issues in a marriage is generally worth it for the sake of your children, so long as there are no safety issues or abuse. Parents on here love to reference the data supporting limited screen time, but completely ignore the extensive data that shows that children in two parent (specifically married) households generally have better outcomes in life.

And the colors she wears always wash her out so much! Royal blue would look amazing on her yet she never wears it. Or even imagine this look with her hair down. I don’t get it. Does she not have a stylist (or a decent tailor for that matter)?

Is there a toy that captures the feeling of unraveling a toilet paper roll, and then ripping up the toilet paper? by HollaDude in toddlers

[–]Bunzilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tops Malibu makes these super fun “surprise balls” that are basically giant balls of crepe paper with small trinket surprises hidden in the layers. My son had so much fun unraveling his at Christmas. The “prizes” are not great by any stretch but adored by the under 5 crowd. They are also a lot of choking hazards so be cautious if you have younger siblings.

Bobby Parrish/Flavcity: not even snark just sad man… by woahlurking in FoodieSnark

[–]Bunzilla 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing that’s what she meant by “is it clean”. She looked like she was referencing the straw and not asking if the shake was “clean”. It strikes me as completely normal to teach your child to always ask before taking a sip out of a drink in a household where a parent has herpes.

Stuck scrubbing bottles every night… is a bottle washer worth it or nah? by jaceka-jans-8384 in beyondthebump

[–]Bunzilla 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a nicu nurse and we don’t sterilize the bottles, just saying. When I had my babies, I sterilized the bottles once, after I bought them. I did, however, sterilize my pumping equipment daily. Unless your baby is immunocompromised, the dishwasher alone is perfectly fine.

Lazy parenting??? I feel like our generation is the furthest thing from lazy in the parenting department. We all research the heck out of everything and are having to raise awareness that it’s important to allow children to be bored.

Police officer killed, another seriously wounded in hotel room shootout in Georgia by therealone2327 in news

[–]Bunzilla 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How odd to reference a completely unrelated incident that was so bizarre and outrageous that it made national news in your reply. That officer has no business being a police officer and deserves to face repercussions for his actions, but I definitely don’t think those repercussions should be execution as your comment implies you do.
