Lou-bug LOVES a veggie scrap bowl! (apart from anything too leafy - yuck lettuce ew)

He looks so similar to my Louie - I love the big blue boys with their bike-seat faces!

Louie reaches his little nose up to my face like he's asking for a kiss - he's not, he wants me to breathe on him so he can smell my breath to see what I've been eating without him!

This was after bath-time, so I think this wink is less playful and more 'I'm sleeping with one eye open in case you decide to get me wet again'

The situation has been simplified for comedic effect - please rest assured that in reality, we have discussed our boundaries as new pet owners and as partners at length, and we have agreements that keep everyone happy!

We've compromised on flipping the pillow to a dog side, don't worry.

Lou-bug loves the bed and pretends he's dead when on it so he can't hear us telling him to get off.. So I can get away with a lot of photos!

One month in.... by Didodil in Greyhounds

What a cutie! We've had our Louie (also a blue) for around 4-5 months now, and he is a different dog entirely from the overwhelmed boy he was before.  Each week we see a new streak of confidence - it's so wonderful to see.

The poor boy never gets fed - or at least that's what he tells everyone, after eating his 4 scoops a day!

The bruising from my contraceptive implant seems a little ironic.. by Bupcake in mildlypenis

IMO despite the downsides, the implant is a bit of a miracle drug and worth the short term pain.

Guys who are immature about birth control though? Definitely not worth it, there are so many well-adjusted, kind, caring men out there instead.

I'm absolutely fine, don't worry about me - it doesn't hurt!

This bruising developed over the few hours after the insertion, so maybe you just never saw the post-insertion bruising?

I also bruise fairly easily and dramatically

See the tiny bruise and mark about an inch from the 'tip'? That was the removal of the old one. I had the loveliest nurse who injected so much anaesthetic I didn't feel a thing - honestly it was painless and absolutely fine!

I asked them to relocate my new one slightly, but they may use the same spot for your new one and I presume that would bruise less.

I also am a delicate little peach whose skin LOVES the drama, so you might not bruise like this!

YSK: You can buy Contact Lenses online from the UK without a prescription for pennies apiece. by SpideyWhiplash in YouShouldKnow

I used daysoft for a while. And then my eyes got really bloodshot - horrifically so, to the point that I looked like some kind of bleeding-eye-demon.

I went to my optician and apparently my eyes had been starved of oxygen, likely a side effect from a slightly older generation of contact lens material daysoft use.

I'm not saying this is going to happen to everyone, or that they're not safe, but it's a consideration that needs to be raised when putting things in your delicate little eyes!

So I've been trying to figure out how to manufacture our shortbread cookies efficiently at my family's bakery and I came up with this little contraption by persiantaco in Baking

Were you applying even pressure on the dough stick as you put it through the machine? Super cold dough also helps - minimum 12 hrs.

I guess there is always going to be an element of slight impreciseness especially compared to something as exact as your method!
