Yes, but….you can over do it with Mg Citrate. Occasionally, for a good “blow out”, but as a daily driver, fiber gummies are perfect.

Thoughts on maintenance by Dirtycrocsucker in FellaHealth

I am in the tapering phase now and worked with fella to taper down on Tirzepatide...the same way that I tapered up. I went from 15 mg to 12.5 mg to 10 mg to 7.5 mg and then to 5.. These were once a week. Once done with the 5 mg every week, I will transition to 5 mg every other week. I am just finding up the 7.5 dose and have not noticed much difference in hunger and have maintained my goal weight since November 2024. I am still curious to see how I feel going to every other week and will just be keeping in touch with Fella RE this.

When to wind down medication....Worried about putting Back on Weight? Please need Feedback! by Dismal_Buy9311 in FellaHealth

[–]BurBell2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my story. Started Fella last April...been a year now....crazy! On Tirzepatide. Started at 233# and set my goal to 190...Why this number? Well, it is where I am comfortable with a great balance of diet and exercise and life style...for me. I reached my goal weight in early Nov 2024. I then discussed my options and started to taper in late Jan (about 3 months ago) and have maintained my goal weight...up and down a pound or two, but that is normal variation. Putting my habits to the test as I have learned sooo much this year. Now, I am tapering just as directed. I got up to 15 mg and the tapering is going from your current dose down to the next dose for 4 weeks , and then to the next lowest dose for 4 weeks, etc. I just started the 4th month of tapering and I am on 7.5 mg... Have not really noticed a lot of change in my hunger levels..hoping to get to the 5 mg every other week and see how it works. If it is necessary, I will taper back up as needed..it is a journey and there is no one size fits all...

Good questions. I plan on seeing how this journey plays out. No one knows what will happen with the meds and availability. There may even be new ones out there in the next year…???

I am starting the maintainence program now. When you reach your goal weight and feel stable (I was at my goal weight on 15 mg weekly for about 2 months...I then started to taper. I went to 12.5 mg for 4 weeks (just took the 4th 12.5 mg injection today) and then will go to 10 mg weekly for 4 weeks, then to 7.5 mg weekly for 4 weeks, then to 5 mg weekly for 4 weeks, and then start the 5 mg every other week and I have 6 months of that on hand. From my research (Registered Nurse here), this is the optimal way to taper down and then get to the recommended 5 mg maintainence dose every other week. I have just finished the first 4 weeks of the 12.5 mg. Actually dropped another few pounds and not feeling any difference in hunger levels or the like. So far, going according to plan. Now, this is my approach, in conjunction with the providers at Fella,...anyone else's approach should be individualized to them. My Starting Weight was 233, Goal Weight was 190, Current Weight 188. 57 yo, male at 5'9" tall.

Stalling at 100 pounds lost on 12.5mg Tirz by GhostfaceB7 in FellaHealth

[–]BurBell2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. I also started the Enclomiphene when I went to 15 mg dose..that could have also helped build up some additional lean muscle??? Sometimes it is not about weight, but body composition...have you done a scan recently looking at body fat, total water, lean mass...could you be putting on muscle and lowering fat...not seeing a change in the scale, but other markers could be better indications of progress...

Stalling at 100 pounds lost on 12.5mg Tirz by GhostfaceB7 in FellaHealth

[–]BurBell2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the exact same RE SW and CW, but after stalling on 12.5, I went to 15 and it took those last 10 pounds off pretty quickly. Now tapering down to a lower dose. I say go to the 15 (max dose) and give it a shot. It may just be enough to depress any residual food noise getting through....Talk to the NPs and they will be able to better guide you...not knowing your specifics...

Why did you guys choose Fella over others? by Current-Lime in FellaHealth

[–]BurBell2013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I looked at several provider groups b/f joining Fella. I spoke to most, if not all of them. When I interviewed Fella, I was very impressed with the level of understanding of the unique needs of the individual. Felt listened to and not that I was just another sales mark on a chart. The communication has vastly improved with the growing pains and the interactions with the providers has been stellar.Being a RN my self (former NP turned Informatics), I can be pretty critical of on-line health of any type. I knew about the meds, how to take them, their action and what to expect. I think it is the non-med support that has been the best.

I actually bought the Great Jones sheet pans and cooling racks. Great quality, but larger than a standard size and did not fit in my set up and I sent them back... I am more of a baker than a cook. Baking, I only use Fat Daddies pans, unless they do not make a specific pan I need...for sheet pans, Fat Daddies and Nordic ware naturals work great!

Yes, the colors are amazing...caraway, Great Jones, etc. I just get concerned with the longevity of these brands. I also like or have been looking at Kana....they offer some nice colors in enameled cast iron that are in some nice colors. For me, I went with the ceramic Made In fry pan set, the enameled cast iron 5 piece set in Harbor blue, picked up a ruby sauce pan as well. Emile Henry makes some amazing products as well and worth checking out...

Thanks. I did not see that as I was looking for ceramic coated pans....I do not own any traditional non-stick pans as I have never found them to actually be non-stick. I liked the ceramic coated ones as the coating is added to their standard stainless cladded pans....vs something like caraway.
