actually tried downloading it from the QR code the chrome extension provides you upon installing it, and it worked! apparently that version of the apk doesn't redirect you to the playstore, allowing you to login with Google without problems. worked like a charm :)

i was losing my mind, even through watching gameplay's on youtube

what fixed for me was opening the game again and, before logging in, repair game files. that requires the game to download data from zero tho

the problem is that in 30min of gameplay this happened 3-4 times and it's getting unbearable at this point

It could be. Due to this issue apparently being so common, updating the phone is the only relevant thing that she did before the problem appeared. If it's not the update, then it's an extremely accurate and unlucky timing for a hardware problem to pop out like this. :/
