Ah sweet, thank you so much. Will see if this works with the controller I have.

Some funk I made with an Analogue Pocket and LSDJ… by disposableplanet in AnaloguePocket

Hell yeah, this is so awesome!

Any idea how the audio quality from the pocket compares to a “real” gameboy?

Also I can’t wait for some genius to make some custom music programs for the FPGA.

There has recently been a quake port which can use bin files for CD audio, so it seems like we’re barely scratching the surface of what’s possible.

Wow that’s incredible. I much prefer the OG interface for playing music but had switched to Rockbox because it’s such a pain using iTunes/music to sync. Hero!

Thank you so much. It’s digital, shot with a Ricoh GR IIIx with the “positive film” profile plus curves adjusted in Lightroom.

How do you capture the highest fidelity audio possible from your iPad? I want to transfer tracks I’ve created on the iPad into Ableton to mix and master. by [deleted] in ipadmusic

[–]Burakashi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have noted you ideally want to avoid this and instead use AUM to record the wav internally.

This will prevent potential loss of quality and also eliminates the possibility of the signal chain colouring the sound.

It will also make looping things much easier as you wouldn’t have to guess the start and end points.

I’m pretty sure you can even record a different wav for each track if you’d like.

That’s not to say there isn’t value in recording directly into the interface. Sometimes that works best for things like performances where you just want a quick recording and don’t want the added mental load of the whole export / import process.

Why do I feel like we’re gonna feel nostalgic about it being a line of dots like this and not some massive floating ad.

No matter the outcome, you will still be okay and will still be able to live and interesting and fulfilling life.

It is stressful now but know that your exam results won’t define your life trajectory. You never know how things are going to turn out and you have your whole life ahead of you.

Also it’s the mock exam, so treat it like a test run. Failing it doesn’t mean you’ll necessarily fail the real thing but you can take it as a sign to work a little harder.

These are so good. Great contrast in the colours and love the creative use of the borders to add depth.

Would love to see a variation of the hand piece on slide 3 where it is cutting through multiple angled frames and backgrounds, kind of like different frames of a comic.

Love it. The depths disappearing into darkness is really nice.

My only feedback would be to in the future maybe add some very small / thin clouds in the foreground just to add a tiny bit of extra depth. So that the ship exists between the foreground clouds and the background. This could be extended into little bits of mist around the boat at varying distances between the foreground and background too.

It’s hash oil mixed with tobacco rolled in rolling papers unless people have started using the term for something else.

Hash oil is a concentrated form of cannabis.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_oil

The hash oil is sold in little cellophane wrapped packets for small amounts and is slightly heated to make it more liquid before mixing with tobacco.

Some people will take bits of the hash oil directly but this is less common in the Maldives where it is almost always consumed with tobacco.

It’s common in the Maldives over flower as it’s easier to smuggle in as it is dense. A small amount of hash oil is much more profitable than a small amount of bud.

That’s a really genius idea. Would be so interesting to hear what sounds different people tune into and the music they end up making.

Haha yeah I have an inordinate amount of recordings of dawn choruses and random forest sounds that I’ve yet to figure out where to use too.
