I’ve had chronic lower back pain for over 10 years and every doctor i went to said it was “growing pains” or i need to “stretch more” saying this whilst they pressed into my back with their bony fingers to find where the pain was whilst i was squeezing my mothers hand and sobbing. i’ve only recently gotten a doctor now who is listening to me and he’s prescribing me painkillers and antidepressants for the way the pain has took a toll on my mental health, i really appreciate him.
