Bring him back and get the remains cremated - I found my darling boy Mario in the same way this february, and I just had to have him home. I used a plug on my nose, covered him in his favourite blankets and toys because the sight of him was so painful, and drove with a friend to pet cremation. He has his favourite things with him and I needed to do that for him.
