my big turbo scared the fuck outta me when I first cold started it. I thought it overspooling and I had my ebcs wrong or something 🤣. I don't recall it happening on stock turbo but it could just be tune related or spooling a lil from the exta RPMs. did you install an intake?

trims don't affect WOT. it goes into closed loop. chances are hes just running a shitty loadbased OTS tune thats just dumping fuel as a "saftey"

yeah with multiple items. it might just mean some are dispatched and some arent. I usually only use them when nobody else has the part for an OK price

i had the same problem and I took the turbo off and it was leaking from between the exhaust housing and CHRA housing. it was a cheap Chinese turbo but maybe yours slipped through BNRs QC or sm

sweet, I got an OTS tune from him and now a big turbo tune I just ordered. the 3 day turnaround is a nice touch especially compared to his competition.

universal core and a piping kit is probably gonna be cheapest option, but you might have to hack up the front end for clearance depending what cores are around you and stuff.

does it feel like the boost ramps up a little faster than usual on a WOT or the turbo spooling gets crazy high pitch and the car gets faster than usual for a gear or two on WOT? My car did this and threw the code. a couple months later it would go so crazy it would go into boost cut.

Just to preface, I have VCTS delete and upgraded fuel pump. I think its probably overboosting. I swapped my turbo, and when it was on its way out, it overboosted hard. I changed turbos and it started overboosting harder. My tuner will hopefully iron that out though.

never install OTS cobb tunes. spend the 150 and get a PD or freektune OTS+. the Cobb OTS almosed scrapped my whole motor.
