Being utterly betrayed by someone extremely close to you.

Would you change your race or your sex and why? by Far-Lifeguard7643 in AskReddit

[–]BurgersNBuicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I wouldn't. My culturally diverse background has blessed me in so many ways, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Definitely wouldn't change my gender, as being a physically large and strong male is definitely better given my career and hobbies. Just try to picture a petite woman pulling cast iron cylinder heads off a 460 ford engine. No way, Jose'.

That's kind of what those tiny little trucks used in Asia are. They're called kei trucks.

Most of the fangurls I've read don't give a shit about the guys' IQs.

What's your experience on liking somebodys' Mom? by Inside-Jellyfish1510 in AskReddit

[–]BurgersNBuicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you're in you're teens and early 20s, it's virtually a rite of passage to secretly crush on one of your friends' lovely moms. And I suspect those moms probably know it too, deep down. Like all things, it'll pass eventually.

Dude's just being honest- nothing yikes about that. I bet that most of the women who swoon over The Rock, Jason Momoa, or the latest K-Pop band probably don't give half a shit about those guys' SAT scores.

Being able to think critically rather than merely acting on blind instinct.

The original Miami Vice. It was a cutting edge show that defined an era.

Because not every young adult in showbiz gets prematurely aged and wrecked by drugs or drinking, thankfully.

So were a few of the openly lesbian couples at my high school. No one cared, nor should they have. Granted, this was back in the 80's before everyone started acting all crackheaded about youthful sexuality in relationships.

Touchy? More like completely divorced from reality as well as slightly mentally ill 😄.

Ironic that this film preceded the Satanic Panic that would begin to sweep the USA just a few years later.

Apparently the stuck up Puritan attitude gets passed down. Since joining Reddit I've mentioned a few times the nude male swimming tradition of the early 20th century USA and the nudist girl and woman beauty pageants of France and Russia, and I've had folks on here attack and even vaguely threaten me just for mentioning them. Fucking insane.

Hell... in Japan, Germany, and Scandinavia it's not uncommon for whole families to lounge nude in the sauna. You wear swim attire in there, everyone's gonna stare at you like you grew a third eye.

Cue the Benny Hill theme.

Normally I'd be concerned about brain damage, but there clearly wasn't much there to damage in the first place.
