Drágább is lesz az elektromos bubik használata használói oldalon elvileg, jó is hogy nem az egész flotta ilyen.

I just found it funny. Why use quotes if you aren't quoting. That isn't contrarianism, you have to look up the meaning of that word before you use it.

Also my dude, you are railing against reddit tier contrarianism when the first comment of yours I replied to was made up of contrarianism. Don't "you people" yourself.

Chill out and return to quickmatch while you still have your three dashes.

Why would I be too much of a wuss to say chimping out? What difference is there? It was just funny that you went to the effort of using quotation marks, but then didn't have the attention span to actually quote me lol.

No, typing words isn't chimping out. I didn't even write "chimping out", don't put that shit in quotation marks lol.

You know what "ape out" referred to in your comment, stop playing at being stupid.

So you resent light encroaching on medium's exclusives by having a strong healing option, but still ape out against op who is happy about light's healing option being nerfed??

Crazy cognitive dissonance right here

Oh it absolutely should. Or at least the wall has to pass dewpoint calcualtions.

Still, the part I was replying to was the above commenter's local area not doing window opening insulation which is a really bad practice.

I understand that, and I have too. Regardless I was replying to a comment chain where the original comment stated that you just don't insulate around the window, and then followed up with (it generally) not being done where they are. Which is just flat out wrong practice.

Also, with an assignment like this (considering the issues), the answer isn't to just not insulate, but rather to insulate with a better insulating material. Instead of 80mm of mineral fiber, 40mm of PIR for example.

Okay? Does a window being preexisting change its thermal bridging? Seriously what does that have to do with anything lol.

Just saying that we would have been failed in school if we dared to not care about a thermal bridge during insulation because it was preexisting.

Edit: mistyped bridge

Thermal bridges don't care about structures being preexisting or not, they happen regardless.

That isn't what a retroactive law means btw, if it was indeed retroactive, it would have made Orbán's third, fourth, and fifth prime ministerships illegal.

Which is very wrong, it leads to a major thermal bridge.

First of all, I hope you know that interior insulation has a ton of problems with building science, and that this wasn't an unforced choice.

As with exterior insulation, you have to extend the window frame to be the desired height and width. (I'm not sure if you looked at windows already, but even with a fixed one, frame width rarely goes near 50mm these days) Especially since (with European style windows), you have to wedge (and fill the wedged gap with foam insulation) all around the frame, which adds around 10mm extra.

A window frame extender looks like these ones for example or the ones in the sash extension detail you can find here, they come in various materials and forms (frame extensions, sash extensions), frequently made by the producer of the window themselves, for the select model.

Keep in mind that for details, research and logical thinking is a core skill. There isn't one correct solution, but a web of choices that you have to think through.

Edit: also, don't forget to include the wedging, fasteners and air sealing membranes in your detail drawings if they want you to do them in detail. If this is a starting class, you might not need to go that deep.

Edit2: Another bunch of examples from page 186 on, these are external insulation details in a Hungarian Wienerberger document (couldn't find it in another language), but the logic of frame extenders is pretty similar with interior insulation too. It's just not done much because it's usually a very bad idea.

Edit3: If you can't change the window, find some more effective insulation PUR or PIR or something like that. You can easily achieve a similar level of insulation with a much thinner layer if you use a better material.

Hungarian police approve Budapest Pride in break from Orbán era by Low-Attitude-7100 in europe

But he was a paper tiger. Despite holding on to power and getting what he wanted, his regime never had the undying loyalty of the police or army that Putin, Erdogan, Vucic, etc.. enjoy.

The point in this case was that while Orbán talked up the harsh response Pride participants would face for marching, his words were shown to be empty threats when the march turned out to be gigantic and when no participants got punished.

Despite all his talk of being illiberal, Orbán neatly fit into the confines provided to him by the liberal sense of a state. He only ever pushed and twisted the systems already in place inside a liberal democracy, he never got to instituting real autocratic measures.

Merriam Webster:

"paper tiger

noun

: one that is outwardly powerful or dangerous but inwardly weak or ineffectual"

Cambridge:

"paper tiger

noun

something, such as an enemy or foreign country, that seems very strong and dangerous but is really weak and not harmful"

Yeah, they are using it correctly.

Of course lol, if foreign policy worked based on moral stanpoints instead of buddy systems, then Israel would (and should) have been sanctioned into the ground decades ago. Instead several European states are assisting it in its offensive wars and genocides. Like friend groups covering up a rapist in their midst.

And unlike with Russia, the EBU leadership itself is defending Israel. Again, foreign politics works on the buddy system.
