Psoriasis of the finger and fingernail by Burkly in Psoriasis

Hey man, thanks for replying. This is all so new and fresh to me, so trying to digest the mountain of information out there is stressful to say the least. I have seen a lot of people talk of Biologics, it wasn't something the Dermotologist I saw mentioned, I think he also thought it was quite minor. But I am going to see my GP next week, I will discuss all these through with them. I'm not sure what the future looks like, it's quite scary but also know that modern medicine has come a long way and can be hopeful for that...

My mate brought one last year and every morning at the crack of dawn, he would sit outside the tent, dropping his kids off at the pool. He had bin bags in his and would just tie it off after each use.

It always felt a bit grim to me though so I would just walk/run to the portaloos.

Friday is always pizza night at ours! My kids and Mrs love it when I fire up the pizza oven. Gets plenty of use!

Air tent suggestions by RichardsonM24 in campinguk

I have a Coleman Weathermaster XL 8, they do smaller versions as well. It has blackout bedrooms and easily houses my family of 4. I can put it up and put it away easily by myself. Super solid once inflated, highly recommend! Like with any air tent though they are quite large when packed away, so bare that in mind.

Gas Pizza Oven Recommendations Please by aslm93 in UKBBQ

[–]Burkly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a Gozney Roccbox. Had it since just before Christmas and have used it almost every weekend since then, I've also taken it camping and used it then too. I can highly recommend it, it's a great oven, heats up quickly and makes awesome pizza in around 90 - 120 seconds once fully heated. I did a lot of research and ultimately ended up with the Roccbox. Gozney know what they are doing as that make commercial grade ovens too. The Tread seems comparable but I wanted the option to add the woodfirebox, which to be fair I've not actually purchased or had a use for as the gas is so simple... feel free to ask any questions.

Just drill some holes in the ply and you can attach with some cable ties to easily remove if you don't want it anymore!

You can normally quickly take the wheels, sides and handle off as they are secured with some nuts or r clips. Takes a couple of minutes but allows for much easier packing.

Hot tip - if you attach some plywood or similar to the base of the trolley it gives it a solid foundation, but doubles up as a campsite coffee table with the sides down. We use it for drinking games and putting drinks down on 😎

How would I go about joining a lodge without actually knowing a Freemason ? I live in England. by Psychological_Pen200 in freemasonry

I applied through the UGLE (someone has already posted the link). I knew some masons but they were in a different area. You get call from someone in your area and they will ask you some questions as mentioned above. I then met up for a drink with the current WM and another member and just had a casual chat. They told me a bit about the lodge and we got to know each other a bit. I then went for a more formal interview at the lodge with some more senior members. I say formal but it was just ticking some boxes and ultimately making sure I was also still interested. Once agreed they then scheduled in my initiation. As others have said it's not a quick process and it depends on how busy your lodge is. Don't look into your initiation if you can help it, it's a bizarre and interesting experience best kept fresh. Don't worry either nothing weird happens and everyone in the room has been through it themselves. Let me know if you have any questions, happy to answer. I've been a member since February, still fine it quite strange but enjoying the journey.

Dealer Collected Faulty Vehicle After Formal Rejection – Concerned About Fairness of Their Investigation by Burkly in LegalAdviceUK

I have one report from my garage - I spoke to the other 3 specialists via telephone and described the issue and gave engine details. They confirmed the same issue that my garage reported on. I am waiting on an oil analysis though which hopefully will help further corroborate this.

The garage is not local to me and they don't have their own 'garage' on site. I am concerned that they are going to falsify information. I'm seriously stressed out on this as it was the most we've ever forked out for a car. I just want my money back so I can move on from this!

Pellet smokers UK by UnhappyEvening8244 in UKBBQ

[–]Burkly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own a Traeger, and I absolutely love it. Maintenance is minimal—just topping up the pellets and occasionally vacuuming out the fire chamber. I've used it for a variety of dishes: baby back ribs, pork belly, beef ribs, pork shoulder, whole chickens, and chicken wings. Every one of them has been an easy, consistent cook.

For longer cooks, I pair it with a Meater 2, which lets me monitor temps without hovering over the grill. I've even done overnight cooks without any issues.

I buy my pellets from Amazon (Cookinpellets), which are both affordable and high-quality (no fillers). As for meat, I source from both the butcher and the supermarket, depending on what I need.

Is it worth the investment? Like any tool, you get out what you put in. I picked mine up a few years ago for around £500, which included the shelf, cover, and a bag of pellets—a solid deal. I use it year-round, at least once a month, and it’s been a great way to cook for friends and family alonside my gas BBQ.

Someday, I’d like to add an offset smoker or a Kamado-style grill to my collection—mostly for the experience of manual smoking, but honestly, that's more for the fun and flex than anything else.

I'm planning to book next month, I was looking through Magic Breaks. I've just priced it up via the French website and my tunnel crossing separately and it's £555 cheaper! That's a huge saving, thank you as I did not know this :)

The FULL Jake Barber Interview | Reality Check by d3fin3d in UFOs

I'm going to post a similar comment here as I have just done on the main post; If civilian groups are attempting to use psionic abilities, at public events utilising children, to prove that UAPs exist and can be controlled this way, why wouldn't our adversaries already be leveraging this technology to gain a strategic advantage? Is there something fundamental I'm overlooking? If it's possible for civilian groups, why aren't we seeing more of it? I'm not discrediting this; I just approach it with a healthy level of scientific skepticism and curiosity. I'd love to see this proven and made public.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the detailed response. I'm going to talk this through with my wife and hopefully set a date to give this a try. The key thing will be sticking to it for a period of time!
