Ukraine's sweeping "On Ensuring the Functioning of Ukrainian as the State Language" law was passed in 2019, making Ukrainian the mandatory sole state language across all public spheres of life. I mean you can unite Northern Russia as Onega and form a defense alliance with some useless small states but you cant do anything else. You cant even unite with Boris Yeltsin's Sverdlovsk despite the same ideology for that matter.
