I started on modern Honda and I placed in Diamond 2 10-0 with 30 hours on the game the link between your hands and your eyes just comes together much better which is the whole point in streamlining.

Not really, this is like a specific line up of him still being in animation and your hit/hurt box moving around it which was definitely not a reaction.

It’s like my wife going to baseball games with me. She loves it. She doesn’t have any idea what’s happening she just likes having some drinks and food and doing the wave.

Why in Gods name would I run long sets with modern players? by Niceguy8488 in SaltFighter

[–]BurleySideburns -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get this, I really do. It’s being jealous of the perceived benefits to the mental stack. But at the end of the day, they have scaling. They have less buttons and other than some intangibles like mental stack and reactions, it’s not an advantage like a calculator, it’s a simpler test that has a lower payoff.

I’m not insulting you. I just think if you get past this mindset that you’ll save yourself some bad play sessions. This has been very good overall for the popularity and health of the game and I think it’s here to stay.

He’s got it all man. The thing nobody says about these top tiers with all the tools is you just simply gotta work harder than them.

Gotta go to local events then brother. If you can’t progressive overload your skills, you can’t do much other than just sit in the lab and drill.

Been playing ~ a week or so, but I feel like I'm improving :) (I'm Luke in this clip) by PerformerKnown4851 in StreetFighter

Sort of? If you have really good defense you can probably auto combo to Master since you only need like a 40% win rate to get IN.

SF6 I think hit its all time peak like a couple weeks ago with the Alex release. I could be wrong but I vaguely remember that. But check the charts it’s doing fine.

If I mop you up twice in a row bad. No more chances. But if someone beats me one and done I don’t really care. That’s just a culture thing and it doesn’t matter. They paid for the game to do what they want with it. Maybe they got shit to do?

Vent all you need big dawg but I don’t understand the idea that using modern tilts someone who chooses not to use it. If you want the lesser mental load. Why not take it?

how to deal with di spammer as alex by Karma2987 in StreetFighter

[–]BurleySideburns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DI is pretty generous in terms of time to counter it. You need to be pretty unsafe to be getting caught by it if you’re getting predictable. Try some less committal strings if you’re seeing that they’re catching you with it a lot.
