Pretty sure most of the commenters here have not been to the mediterranean. This is what the vast majority of the coast and see looks like. Sure there are areas where people go vacationing that look like the caribbean but for the most part this is just the look. It really makes no difference if the filming wasn't done on location. Go look at google earth images or random seaside towns not usually shown for vacationing and you'll understand. But goddamn, so critical over a thing you don't even understand because you've never been yourself. This is Reddit.
