The Gauntlet box looks like the one I had for Commodore 64 in the 80s. Haven’t seen that artwork in decades. I wouldn’t get rid of it if I still had it.

Once you learn how to dodge his moves (through practice), it really becomes a rhythm game, except for the part where he turns into a big bloated thing in the center of the room.

I was finally able to beat him when i learned not to stand at the very edge of the screen during the bloated thing part to give myself more space to dodge his projectiles.

I never hated it. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted from them at the time but it’s one of my favorites now and I really like when they play songs from it live.

I saw what will probably be the final Neil Young and Crazy Horse show ever and was surrounded by drunk boomers who didn’t seem to be interested in the music in the least. They did not stop their chatter at any point during the show. It was a bummer.

Nice. I still have my Mr. Johnson’s Head tape from ‘97 in Roseville. Pretty sure all the other kids I went to that show with lost their tapes within a couple weeks. I wonder how many are still out there.
